Cuando nace su primera hija, Inés, una mujer independiente y exitosa, descubre que su vida anterior se le escapa sin que esté claro si lo que la espera en el futuro es mejor. Dante y Soledad, una pareja de peces de agua salada, serán a la vez el espejo y testigos de su transformación. Es a través de su reflejo que Inés se dará cuenta de lo que debe hacer para afrontar su nueva vida.
